My guess is that the pledge was overwhelmed, out of her element, and confused as to whether the actives in charge were kidding or not. She told her mom, her mom assumed the worst case scenario (NOT an unreasonable thing to do considering what just happened at penn state) and now we have this. It's possible they will get social probation for a semester but doesn't seem to be as big of a deal as it originally seemed. Don't blame the mom or her daughter for their reactions but KD is certainly not at risk of getting their charter pulled or anything like that.
