Parents attend bid day at TONS of schools. I wanted mine there. They were at my first choice house and found my bid day buddy and were with her when I ran to her. They videoed and took pictures. It was fun to get to share with them, and they stayed for a little bit and then left and I had fun with my new sisters. It's totally okay for this to happen. If you're not comfortable with it, you're parents don't have to come.
