Some people don't have the mental strength and tenacity to live their true life. When I rushed I accepted a bid from a "lower tiered" house. Found friends. My big was a sister who had me at pref. Got on exec my sophomore year, moved up on exec my junior year. Became one of their best recruiters.. Joined other awesome campus orgs too. Did it bother me that rep was not as high as some houses? Yes some days it did. People can be rude wherever. Go to an SEC football game and sit with the other side. So what. Everyone loves their team, tribe, fraternity, sorority -- and believes their group is the best. Mine is the best 🙂
