Getting your third pick is really so so rare especially considering many girls don't even attend 3 pref parties. We should definitely move to that. It saves everyone time/resources. Most of the girls who drop after bid day are the girls who got their 3rd choice. Get rid of 3 prefs, get rid of girls who don't want to be where they are and save actives the hassle of dealing with them.
