I didn't realize how exhausting simply talking can be. My mouth was so dry and my lips were so tired sometimes that I could barely get a word out. Awful!! I also really thought my high GPA would mean more than I guess it did. I thought houses like AXO, XO, AGD, etc would be more interested in me but I was dropped. I only have one house for pref, my favorite since IWTs, and I'm super excited to be there, but I definitely assumed my resume would give me more options than it did. It was hard to realize that's not true.
