@#1 - Yes!! Most PNM's don't realize that every PNM invited to pref is on that chapter's bid list somewhere. Chapters are not allowed to cut after pref. You might not get a bid to your #1 if you aren't high enough on their bid list but over half of pnms will get a bid to their #1....it's literally the only day of rush where the odds are in your favor!! Some ways to say that they're your #1: -"I've loved my time at XYZ this week and really feel like I've found my home." -"I really hope to run here tomorrow because I just love XYZ so much and can really see myself here" If asked what you're thinking or if you're having a difficult time making a decision: -"No, since Philanthropy (or whenever you had your love moment) I realized this was the chapter for me and I'm so excited to be here for Pref." Actives LOVE hearing why/when you fell for their house - ie, "my godmother is an XYZ and has always talked about her sisters so positively, so while I came into rush with an open mind, I've bonded with so many of the XYZs this week and it's fun to think that I could not only be part of this amazing chapter but also sisters with my godmother." Just remember they cannot promise you a bid so they won't be able to respond with "You're going to be my little!!! Wear this tomorrow so we'll match!" They'll probably say something like "I'm so glad you feel that way. It reminds me of my Pref night" or something vague.
