Hi I'm the original poster. Thanks for all the feedback. I'm having a great rush, even with my disappointment in being dropped from this specific house. To answer your questions, I know that this girl and I are for a fact very good friends. We grew up together and did the same sport together growing up and never really stopped talking after she graduated. She even told me this summer that I would be the perfect fit for her sorority. She is a sophomore, but she holds a position and her big is a very important member of exec (being vague for anonymity). I'm not so much upset anymore, just honestly perplexed that I was cut. It sounds crazy, but I honestly think it may have been an issue with the matching software and that is why I wasn't asked back? That's the only thing I can think of that would make sense...
