My roommate is really dang negative and keeps telling me that I shouldn't like a house because their philanthropy seriously helped me (Phi Mu and the CMNH) and the girls I've met so far are great. She also is under the impression that sororities don't do much for philanthropy. Am I wrong to want the chance be a part of an organization that changed my childhood and teen years? I know that I may not end up in Phi Mu and I'll be happy wherever I land, but I'm feeling kind of dumb and naïve because of her. I'm doing great on Rush and have been having an absolutely amazing time and if any actives are reading this, Thank you all for managing all of this and for putting on a great week. You all are amazing and I would be honored to be part of a sisterhood that involves any of you. I'm proud to be a PNM in your process.
