It could definitely work out but communication and trust is extremely important!!! My freshman year I had a boyfriend back home up North and it actually wasn't that bad... Obviously we missed seeing each other and everything but we would text constantly and call each other at night and stuff. And we were always extremely open about what was going on in our lives, especially at parties and stuff... When I would go to swaps I would always tell him what went on and I would never drink to the point that I wasn't conscious of making my own decisions. That being said, my freshman year roommate also had a boyfriend back home in Florida and they rarely spoke... He was busy with his school and the extracurricular activities he did so they rarely texted or spoke on the phone. I remember he would text her in the middle of the day just saying hi, then he wouldn't reply to her for the rest of the day, and then text her goodnight when he would go to bed. So obviously there was little communication and they ended up breaking up because of it. Overall, trust and open communication is a must. If y'all really care about each other then you guys shouldn't have a problem... But if you do, just remember everything happens for a reason. Good luck :)
