1. Your recs will be thrown away and you will need to get new ones for whenever you rush again. I don't know the exact process of dropping from rush, like I don't know if you need to delete your online profile or anything so you should contact Panhellenic and ask. 2. Only a certain few houses do spring rush so it's not the best option for girls who want to meet all houses. Also, spring rush is more geared towards girls who already know actives in the house so if you have a house you like in particular you may not get the opportunity to even meet with them if you don't know anyone in the house. 3. TBH you may feel a little out of the loop when living in Tut and not being in a sorority. I lived in Tut my freshmen year and it was the most amazing thing walking down the hall and seeing everyone's posters and getting ready with everyone for swaps and date parties. So on Tuesday and Thursday nights you may feel like you're missing out a little. I'd say about 5% of all girls who live in Tut are not in sororities or pledged and then dropped. I think that if you put yourself out there then you definitely will be able to meet good friends, both in Greek life and not. 4. I'd suggest to do formal rush your sophomore year just because it's better.
