think of it this way... you go to XO, DDD, PM on pref you rank DDD, XO, PM, 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Both DDD and XO have you on 1st list. you get DDD because you put them first. XO crosses you off 1st list and one person moves up from 2nd list to the 1st list...and so it goes.
