In fact, if you had the manners you claim, you'd just keep your mouth shut anyway! By contrast, insisteting they are awful and being rude yourself suggests you are afraid they aren't so bad - in fact better and they create some form of threat to you. To anyone with an intelligence high enough that you claim to want in your precious house, this is painfully obvious and you are doing KD a great favor.
