I can only speak for MY house, which is a grades-focused house, and we wouldn't keep a 3.0 after IWTs unless we actually thought we could take her through the week. A girl with a 3.2, it's more up in the air, but there are so many girls with higher grades than your friend that we won't waste our resources on someone who scraped by in high school (...by our standards) unless we knew her very well and we knew she would not be a grade risk for us in the future.
