I also know a lot of KDs who don't have the money they pretend to have. They pledged bc they were legacies or because they thought being a KD with some sisters with money would make them seem that way. But the fact is, the two don't mix and the old KD money knows the difference. The old KD money doesn't mean they are classy--just rich. And let me assure you, times have changed and 1/2 of Kd and Kappa are not rich. And that is FINE. Just don't think you are all that or out your parents in debt. That is also social climbing parents' faults too. This is why these no longer get the best all-around girls. They are too caught up in appearances to be active and fun and accepting. I think AGD is even worse in Mountain Brook bc they are so caught up in getting MB that the reputation doesn't even matter. They get the leftovers so to speak and these girls are so caught up in OR, that they go in and act like they are better than anyone. Let me assure you, they were cut by the others unless they are the legacies (really great agd legacies).
