I'm sure you're beautiful just the way you are, but with how fast paced recruitment is, a lot of it is based on first impressions. And unfortunately, first impressions are based on looks. It's just human nature. That being said, your options could be limited regardless of whether you're overweight or not. Think about all the girls who are gorgeous, have stellar grades and a great resume but only have 1 house for pref. It happens. And when you don't have "the look" it makes it even harder. My advice is hope for the best but expect the worst. As long as you stick it out, you're likely to find a bid somewhere. (As long as you have everything else going for you - grades, recs, personality, etc)
