I know this is a troll, but for other PNMs reading this.., there is no such thing as a guaranteed bid ahead of time. They don't exist. Even if a house thinks they want you, they can't guarantee you a bid because the ENTIRE house has to vote on you. And you'd be amazed how much the "pre-rush wish list" differs from the actual wish list after pref. Top girls get moved to the bottom of the list and unknown girls can move to the top as we learn more about them and meet them throughout the week. And like someone said, if a sophomore has promised you a bid, you better believe that's not true. Sophomores have never been on the other side before and they have no clue how voting works. So if someone promises you a bid, be nice and most definitely keep your options open because they can drop you in a second.
