Admission time: I'm not from the South and had never heard of a door song before I came to Alabama. Yes, I know they exist all over, but I hadn't been to college anywhere at that point and no one in my family was Greek. The first time I heard a door song, I seriously contemplated what the heck I was doing with my life and whether being Greek was really for me. I got used to it though and although I can't say I'm looking forward to being on the other side of the door this year for the song, but I sure am for all the rest of Recruitment. I am sad I missed skits.
