I also made the mistake of not coming on here though.. when i was a pnm I didnt know this site existed. Im from OOS North and i thought the fact that sororities asked for rec letters was comical.. I truly didn't know it was that serious. I think I got about 12-- and I was really happy with myself and thought my 3.9 unweighted gpa, 33 ACT, and personality would help me get bids. I didn't know that telling actives I had never seen the bags everyone was using (Tori Burch I think theyre called?) or never heard of Lily Pulitzer would make a house drop me. There's a lot of advice on this site than can be helpful to pnms who know nothing about rush (like me). Don't pay attention to the gossip and the drama but read the post about a general guide to rush because a lot of that is really helpful.
