Your logic is completely backwards. And you're actually perpetuating stereotypes. Even if a house is traditionally lower ranked, people can still genuinely like it... Kind of like how AXO or XO are traditionally higher ranked houses yet people can still genuinely dislike them... Weird how it's always self ranking when a lower ranked house gets some positive feedback yet it's never self ranking when a higher ranked houses gets the same feedback....
