You shouldn't pick a house based only on their philanthropy but I think it's good to have as a factor, especially if you plan on making your sorority a major extra-curricular and want to dedicate a lot of time to your house. I picked my house in part because my passion for our philanthropy was so strong and getting to help raise money and support an organization that I love has completely made my college career. So PNMs, don't be afraid to get involved in philanthropy and don't be afraid to take it into account when deciding where to go. Passion can get you though a lot.
