Short answer-- they're nice girls but they just aren't super popular with PNMs which is a lot of what rankings are based off of. As for the philanthropy, and I am not trying to bash DZ because they are not the only house like this, but they are not super involved with it. When I rushed several years ago they didn't even talk about it on philanthropy day, they played a recruitment like video and then the girl asked me if I had any questions and I was like "well what's your philanthropy?"
