The only benefit outside of college is how strong is the alumna network. Some chapters here are strong only in a few other places, and the same goes for their alumnae chapters. It can actually make a difference for some women ( and even their spouses) in the future. My older sister has a friend who got her job from her alumna chapter president's husbands law firm. Connections matter.
