There really aren't any huge benefits of being either OR or NR after college. I know some girls say, for those who stay instate after college, it's "better" to have been OR because people will judge you based on it... But the thing is, the entire state of Alabama does not go to this school. These people aren't going to be around you all the time after you graduate making snarky comments about your house... I mean will you meet a few people here and there who were Greek at Bama? Yes. But it's not like they're going to dismiss you once you tell them what chapter you were a part of. The only major post-graduation benefit that differs between houses is that some have big national networks and some don't. If you're someone who wants to stay involved in your sorority after graduation, it may be hard for you to fins a local alum chapter in certain areas. I know PM and AGD are really only semi-popular in the Southeast... Whereas KKG, KAT, XO, etc are popular in all regions across the country. That being said, joining a sorority with a larger national presence is the only post-graduation benefit that differs between houses.
