I had a full card but cuts after IWT were old row where I didn't have rec letters Northern OOS with good grades. Did get to pref with two OR and one NR. Went NR and love it. Would say get your recs in to maximize your options. Girls on my floor that "just showed up" with no recs, had the deepest cuts in early rounds.
