I love this thread because it shows how different everyone's experiences are during rush! To any PNMs reading: This is YOUR rush experience... It's completely what you make of it. When I rushed, I went from 16 houses on IWTs to 5 on Philanthropy. Going Greek was something that I always envisioned for myself and played a big role in why I even chose to attend Alabama. So obviously, when I got my schedule back I was disappointed, especially when hearing other girls in my Rho Chi group complain about how busy their schedules were. But the truth is, it's pretty standard to not have anything close to a full schedule on any days after IWTs... But that doesn't mean you're not a good person nor does it mean you won't be able to find your home. I noticed that a lot of girls in my Rho Chi group were also shocked at how drastic the cuts were in their schedules, even the prettiest girls in my Rho Chi group were in the same boat as me. Sorority life is what YOU make it out to be. If you decide to be upset and angry that your favorite house dropped you then you're only closing the door to a world of opportunities in another house. Everything happens for a reason, and even the worst situations can be a blessing in disguise. I can't wait to meet of al y'all this August!!! #PanLove
