I'm a Bama gal that will be going through Recruitment in August. I've got two Recs for each group, am a Legacy at one house (but the house has a ton of legacies usually, so I'm not counting on that), great grades (third in my class), activities, Homecoming Queen, popular in my school, lots of service work, etc. Basically, I'm probably a pretty standard PNM. I know people from school and cheer camp/dance classes who are already in sororities there, so I'm not a complete unknown. That said, I've been reading through the threads, and one thing I've noticed is mention of Social Media. How important is this? I've never been big at putting my life on the internet, and I'm not obsessed with selfies. I don't have an Instagram, I don't use Snapchat, or have a Tumblr. I do have Facebook, but I rarely post anything to it. I also have a Youtube account, but it is almost exclusively dance related. Is this likely to hurt me? I figure that at this point it's a little late to set up an Instagram or anything like that, but is my lack of social media going to cause most houses to cut me?
