SK wouldn't appeal to me as a PNM because they aren't an established chapter. Colonizing a new chapter is hard, and it's going to be even harder at a school like Alabama where tradition means everything. And all of this is the truth, SK is definitely going to have a hard time successfully colonizing, and I think being realistic about this is better than fluffing it up to make it seem like something it's not. I wish the best for SK because we really do need a way to control the growing pledge class sizes. However, if it was up to me, having SK colonize here would not have been my first choice. We have a fully capable NPC sorority on campus that has already been around for decades. I know there were threads about SDT a while ago, and I don't want to sound like a broke record, but I feel that if they tried hard enough they could definitely become a large, successful chapter. It doesn't make sense to introduce a new NPC sorority when we already have one under the rocks. I know everything's set in stone now so arguing about this won't change anything but I'm just saying. Idk, I hope the best for SK but I know and you know that it will not be easy for them. I mean just look at the other sororities that tried to colonize here but failed. They need to be ready to fight and they need to be ready for rejection from people in the Greek community. Just the truth.
