///another active here I think the reason why a lot of girls usually feel uncomfortable or unwelcome in certain OR houses is because those houses tend to go after a very specific type of girl. On this site, a lot of people talk about how every house takes in OOS girls, which is true, but you need to be extremely well rounded for the most part. Since more than half of our school is OOS, most coming for the Greek life, a majority of girls who rush are inevitably from OOS... And most OR houses don't care too much about them. I don't mean that to sound mean lol I just don't know how else to phrase it. I'm from the North and I'd say I was a slightly above average PNM (good grades, good involvement, but no connections). That being said, I could really feel the disconnect between certain girls in certain houses because of my zip code. I knew that the house wasn't interested in me by the they were speaking, the way they were standing, the way our conversation flowed, etc. However, I will say that not all OR houses are like this. Personally AXO, XO, and DDD all made me feel appreciated and wanted even though all eventually dropped me.
