Honey the only reason you ended up at your second choice was because you were not high enough on your first choice's bid list to make the cut. Of course you were "on your first choice's list." EVERYONE who goes to pref is somewhere on the list. They list all the PNMs who attended their pref party in the order that they want them. You were not high enough on their list to receive a bid. It has nothing to do with you being a legacy or "numbers and ratios" You just weren't high enough on their bid list. That's it.
