I ended up with my second choice because I was a legacy at that house and I was really high on their bid list. I was on my first choice's list too but because of numbers and ratios I ended up at my second choice. I would say it happens to 10-20% of PNMs, so make sure you pick your pref houses wisely. I can honestly say I would've been happy with any 3 of my pref houses and I ended up exactly where I am meant to be, and I freaking love it.
