I observed a few girls who had only one to three houses after ice water teas "giving up" and dropping out on their own Can't say what would have happened if they stuck it out - even with one house the entire way. But I believe there is a fair chance they would have found a house. In general, the odds are very low of not finding a house. As someone said the "competitive" idea is more about getting into certain houses.
