I think DGs biggest competition is Alpha Phi. I say that because other new row houses (zta, pi phi, adp) are still slightly above them. DG does it's fair share of cross rushing with ADP and has a mixture of girls like them, but ADP is a bit more academically involved and a higher GPA. Pi phi has a larger group of well rounded girls. ZTA has more prettier girls and unlike alpha phi more stable. Alpha phi on the other hand has a bit more of prettier girls; thus frats like them more. However, DG has more well rounded girls than Alpha Phi, higher GPA (and yes they might be 12th but there is a big difference dgs gpa is 3.3 and alpha phi 2.9-numbers can be deceiving), better sisterhood, competitive (won a couple of things this year), and more philanthropic. So if a PNM cares more about looks and partying (which is completely fine we're in college) they might find themselves fitting into alpha phi better. If they want more well rounded girls with the sorority experience dg might be for them. Different girls want different things. Also alpha phi has been unstable with many scandals recently. Change of president, academic probation, and on financial risk puts them in a weak position. If alpha phi places a higher value on academics and sisterhood they could surpass dg. If dg recruits a larger number of prettier girls they can surpass alpha phi. Right now they are basically both competiting against one another. I think overall we should congratulate both houses for being the two newest
