A lot of girls will say they know girls that were dropped from recruitment when what actually happened was that the girl dropped out of the process on her own when she still had houses left. It happens most often when girls are dropped from their legacy house/favorite house. Or when they always saw themselves being in the top tier and they (stupidly) buy into the narrative that being in a lower tier house is worse than being independent. Because of stories about those roommates/friends of friends/cousins/etc, the amount of girls that are legitimately dropped from every single house becomes greatly exaggerated.
