I know this is really well intentioned advice, and I'm sure we can all appreciate that, HOWEVER, to tell pnms to just "go where you feel happiest and most welcome" is easier said than done. You didn't get cut from anyone, so you don't understand how devastating it can be for a PNM to get cut by a house where they DO feel happy and welcomed. It sucks. And we should acknowledge that too. Because if we keep telling PNMs to just "go where they belong" and they get cut by houses where they feel they "belong", it makes them think the process is broken, when it really isn't. We should be telling PNMs that they may find that house they love and end up with a bid, or they may end up with a bid to a house where they felt lukewarm all week. And that's completely normal. Lots of girls find happiness after bid day, and not during recruitment. Just my 2 cents.
