My niece had the same experience - a big who left early, a little who didn't even show up after Bid Day, add to that a roommate who really live with her boyfriend. She never served as an officer or committee chairman. Her sorority experience wound up vastly different from mine. Adoptions happen all the time. I hope they will all accept you!
