Psychologists and counselors and all the professionals who study this kind of thing tell us that bullying happens because people with lower self-esteem issues need to pick on others to make themselves feel better. You'd think that some bullies seem to have over-confidence issues but this is not the case. They are striving very hard to make themselves appear better. This site brings out the contentious side in everybody. It's like road rage; anonymity makes people feel safer so they say what they would normally keep to themselves.
