I know my sorority expects higher college GPAS. We drop anyone who's a grade risk, regardless of high school or college. If other houses do this too, it needs to be above a 3.0. You could be best friends with the president and some nationals won't let you take a grade risk. In addition, a lot of houses have a once cut always cut rule. But there is an upperclassmen quota, so you should be able to maximize your options if you get the gpa up.
