No she's right, if you want to be relevant, definitely go on campus. It's not even just that girls won't talk to you. Off campus ones aren't as involved and don't get as many opportunities. You won't get to mingle with the sororities like on campus frats, like swaps etc. I literally couldn't even name u an off campus frat tbh. They still participate in Greek events like homecoming and Greek week, but they typically won't go because the sorority their paired with gets paired with 2 other fraternities as well, with the main one being an on campus one and the other typically a Jefferson. At least for especially freshman year, it'll matter because I'd say that's when the school feels the most Greek dominated because freshman are still making friends and will tend to stay within their sororities and then will have the fraternity their pc hangs out with the most.
