Listen to your momma! Many people will get pissed I brought a momma into the conversation but I wish I had relied on my moms knowledge a little more. She was really the only person that had my best interest in mind. I have several different legacy connections with my siblings, mom and grandmothers. I did not have preconceived ideas and wanted to make my own choices. I followed in their footsteps long enough! One of my legacy houses, which is also a new row house heard that I was more favorable to my stronger legacy house (old row house) which was not true! My mom wanted to call one of her friends to let them know that my mind wasn't made up but I begged her not to call them! I ended up pledging the old row house because I don't think the new row house gave me as good of rush because they didn't think I liked them. Although, I love my PC and I've made my home with my sorority the truth is I wish I had pledged my grandma's new row house. I wonder how things would have been different if my mom had called her friend and just made sure that they knew I very much loved their sorority and was open minded....
