@LL Your chapter is allowed to take as many or as few members as they want. There's nothing saying that they have to take 200 girls. They can cut harder than RFM demands. They don't because they want more members. SDT's size isn't an advantage in UA's system. They've participated in formal rush in the past and couldn't be competitive with the other sororities. They didn't have enough girls to match up with PNMs, they didn't have the same amount of money to spend on parties, and it resulted in them getting almost no members despite wasting their time, energy and money on a heartbreaking process. If people want pledge classes to get smaller than the best thing to do is open up the university to a new organization. A new org can take 300-400 members right off the bat and hopefully take quota every year afterward; because of SDT's legacy on this campus, they can't.
