i don't think alabama's npc should put themselves through all the hard work and stress of trying to bring a new sorority here when there's a fully eligible nationally recognized NPC sorority here that hasn't been apart of the mainstream greek life for a while. i get it, SDT likes how they operate and they're an "alternative form" of Greek life, but y'all need to grow up. like if you can't handle being in a legitimate sorority then maybe Greek life in general isn't for you, or maybe join ADXi or an academic Greek organization. but at the end of the day y'all need to realize SDT is a legitimate nationally recognized NPC sorority. they shouldn't get to sit out during rush just because they're not "popular among the PNMs." the numbers of incoming PNMs is growing rapidly, as you all should know, and these numbers are just going to keep going up. bringing a new sorority onto the campus will take years, lots and lots of money, and lots of time from a plethora of people. like i don't understand why the university and NPC won't just give SDT the ultimatum of either participating in formal rush or leaving campus. no one wants a new sorority on campus, i can tell you that much. everything is already so crowded and PNMs are already so confused with the 18 sororities as it is. i hope someone from NPC is reading this right now because the solution to this problem is to have SDT work it out to where they can participate in formal rush and operate successfully with a bigger pledge class.
