1. There isn't a set number of girls who get dropped every day. If you're talking about specific houses, there are a few houses that basically have their bid lists made up before rush even starts... So houses like that tend to drop more girls the first few days just because they're already set on specific PNMs. 2. PNMs do not drop houses, the houses drop PNMs. If a house likes you, you will be asked back, if not, then they've thus dropped you. 3. Each house has a quota set by their nationals and NPC. The pledge classes grow in size as the amount of PNMs who rush also grow. NPC here works really hard to ensure that there's a very high bid match rate. 4. New houses do not drastically impact the quality of pledge classes. The only house that has seen a decent improvement because of a new house is Gamma Phi... But as you said, all the houses are nice.
