Social life is very possible as a GDI. Greek life is for those who are fully committed, and btw, Greek life is much more than parties. Honestly, if you're not completely set on rushing, then don't because we really don't need people who aren't 100% committed. As a GDI girl you'll still be able to get into frat parties, you'll still be able to mingle with sorority girls and fraternities guys. Will you have to work somewhat harder to make connections? Yeah, but if you're as social as you say you are then that obviously shouldn't be a problem.
