Honestly you'll have so little time to talk about miscellaneous stuff that you really shouldn't worry about what topics to voice. Obviously, politics, religion, money are the main three areas people tend to avoid when conversing with someone for the first time in a formal setting. Along with that, a rule of thumb for sorority rush is to not talk about the three B's: boys, booze, and brands. But truthfully actives will ask you a set list of questions each round so you'll never have to make up conversation on the spot. Most questions involve where you're from, what you were involved with in high school, what you did over the summer, etc. If an active asks you about what clubs you were a part of and a club you were in just so happens to be religiously affiliated don't be afraid to tell them. They'd rather see you be involved in religious activities than not involved at all. Christianity is a major religion down here. Every house has girls that live by the Bible so you truly won't find a house that you can't be openly religious in. Overall during rush, talk about your involvements whether they be religious or not.
