I may be coming to Alabama this fall and am from out of state, but from the South. I don't know a soul. Do many freshmen go to one or both summer sessions in order to meet people in the various chapters before fraternity rush starts? Is this a good idea? Any other suggestions? Also, I signed up fairly early for housing, about a week after it opened. Any suggestions?
