Early round meetings are brief. At the most competitive houses It can be tough (not impossible) to get noticed, recognized and placed on the call back list. Letters of recommendation help. Great PNMs (looks, grades, wealth, style) will find a top house in any event, but they may not get selected by all the houses they may like - particullarly in the early rounds - if the ground work isnt done.
