It's hot, it's crazy, you'll feel the pressure even though you swore you wouldn't, yes you might get dropped, and it all ends happily - because you got a great sorority or you dropped yourself and dodged a bullet. It's quite an experience. Some say they didn't get recs - what they don't know is that the sororities still try to find recs for girls, but with 2800, it's impossible. So if you can get recs, please do. It couldn't hurt, and if you're in some situations, it might help a great deal. Keep asking until you find alums who can write them. They don't have to be Alabama alums, just members of sororities that are at Alabama. If you don't go through, you'll always wonder "what if." If you do go through, please don't think you can pick and choose who asks you back. And no, you won't die if you don't get sorority A, B, C, D, E or F. You may even hate the so-called "top" sororities and love the so-called "worst" sororities. Bottom line - every sorority has women who are oustanding scholars, student leaders, beauties - and every sorority has women who don't go to class, screw anything and would frighten witches in the morning. Find your home.
