Think about it - you have a chapter of 60 to 80 girls. More than 100 are coming to your house to visit - 10 times today alone! It's extremely difficult to recruit when your numbers don't match those of the other chapters. Note that I said numbers - not the love or fun or things done together, just numbers. Years ago, the chapter and their advisers concluded that they would do better recruiting more on an individual basis. It works for them. At one point they did recruit with the other groups. Perhaps in the near future - once the sororities now on the row finish building - they can move back over to Sorority Row, expand their membership, and resume recruiting with the rest of us. For now - I think there's definitely a place for a sorority of women who don't find formal recruitment appealing and choose to do it differently.
