What?? A lot of people join sororities because of the future connections they'll get in the business world. A lot of people get privileges and advantages from being Greek affiliated. If you join a notable sorority/fraternity you do get things more easily than GDIs. Of course you need to work hard and be outgoing, however its a known fact that Greek affiliates are more likely to get a job over a GDI. Of course you shouldn't just use a sorority for that reason though. Sororities are social groups that have evolved into something that you can use to your advantage in your future life. However, joining a sorority IS a life long commitment. To PNMs, IF you find yourself in a situation where you need to choose between a few sororities at the end of rush and you feel good with all of them, look into their national standing.
