I don't think your opinion is shared by many other people. You're right about the grades, but the ones I've seen are pretty much indistinguishable from the other middle houses. DG is still struggling and is much less popular with pnms during recruitment. I'm afraid that the charge you make against G Phi for being "in your face about how great they are," is really just about you and your opinion. People like me who aren't even in G Phi are "in your face" because G Phi, while not great, is vastly better than DG.
